Flume 2.6
Uplet is a dedicated Instagram client that brings the missing feature right to your Mac’s desktop. Upload a bunch of photos and videos in a perfect quality to your Instagram account, edit the appearance, and add captions — just like you do on your phone. If you do not see that page, try a different browser.
The last 10 days have been a little chaotic to say the least. If you’re not aware, we left the Mac App Store recently. We highly encourage you to read through that blog post first if you haven’t done so already. That’s the bad news out of the way, the good news is, we’re still alive and kicking!
But first…
This might sound like a boring way to start, but we’d like to point out that Flume 2.6 now includes a built-in help documentation viewer! Simply open it from the “Help > Flume Help” menu, or access it at any time in your browser right from https://help.flumeapp.com
There’s loads of information tucked away here, and we’re constantly improving it. If you find an issue or think there’s something we missed, let us know!

Migration Checklist
Before you go and download our new direct version, there’s some important information to read first about the migration from the Mac App Store:
- Flume Pro is now activated via licence codes. When you upgrade to Flume Pro (either via our website, or in-app), you will receive a licence code via email. You will need to activate this licence code via the instructions provided in the email (once again, you can read about all this in the help documentation). A single purchase of Flume Pro will give you a single licence code, which you can activate on up to 5 Macs at a time (for personal-use only), all for the existing price of $10.
- If you downloaded Flume from the Mac App Store, do not delete your copy of Flume. When you download Flume from our website, simply double-click to open it. On first launch, it will detect your unsupported version of Flume from the Mac App Store, and offer to begin the migration process. If you cancel the migration process, you can begin it at any time, by accessing it from Preferences > Flume Pro > Migrate Mac App Store Purchase. More information on migration is available in - you guessed it - our help documentation.
- If you deleted your Mac App Store version of Flume or otherwise no longer have it on your Mac, you will need to redownload it from the Mac App Store and restore your in-app purchase of Flume Pro (if applicable). See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202161 to learn how to redownload Flume from the Mac App Store, and https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204530 on how to restore your in-app purchase of Flume Pro.
- If you did not purchase Flume Pro from the Mac App Store, the migration tool will offer you a single-use personal discount for 70% off, to convince you once and for all to upgrade! Simply copy the coupon code you see, and enter it into the “Offer Code” field when you upgrade to Flume Pro.
- After you complete the migration process above, Flume will ask if you want it to move itself to your /Applications folder - once you do this, your Mac App Store version of Flume will be moved to the Trash. At this point, your migration is complete! You can delete the Mac App Store version of Flume (or keep it if you are sentimental).
- Future updates to Flume will now appear directly inside Flume and even better, will be available much more quickly as we no longer need to submit our updates to Apple for approval. Win-win!
One more thing…
We need your help. As we pointed out when we left the Mac App Store, we were left with no way to communicate to our existing users that we were going. Please help spread the word that Flume is now available directly from our website - if you missed it above, we’re offering a 70% discount to upgrade to Flume Pro if you migrate from the Mac App Store version!
So, where do I get it?
If it wasn’t obvious already, go download Flume 2.6 from our website!
